Planning on taking my srx out on a pond to play around with a friend who is testing his AC drag sled. I wanted to spray something on the slides to keep the hyfax cool. Was thinking bio-degradable anti-freeze in a spray bottle and give both slides a good spray before a run. Any thoughts on this?+

P.S-I dont have oversize idlers.

about anything with some lube in it will work...i know a few guys that ice race regularly and seem to use alot of wd40

if you can find some ice shavings and toss them in the skid before each run that will work, otherwise i'd just bring some dish soap and give them a quick squirt before each run

Ice scrachers work good too, if you dont want to spend the money on the ones that attach to skid I Have seen guys drill a hole in the tail of the ski, Put a small nut and bolt it in.

Ended up not needing it, there was a thin layer of snow over the ice. Thanks for all the advice though, I did get a bottle of dish soap if I need it in the future.

Ice scratchers when trying to make speed runs??? :o| LMFAO!!!!

Forgot to mention, got 110mph in 1200ft with a rolling start (stock viper track, worn studs) pretty much spun whole first 600ft. Was pretty happy how it ran/went for no hook up

Edit: mph was on the speedo, no radar, so whats that...maybe 100mph?
