This is for the SRX weights(8bu-10)..the charts show that the 8bu-10's are 45.41 grams with out bushing.I have new bushings here and they are 1.30 grams. So weight and bushing should weigh 46.71 grams without any rivets installed. Mine weigh in at 46.8/46.9/47 grams.I know Turk said that the clutch doesn't know the difference between a .1 or .2 difference between weight.
QUESTION I have is ..how much do your 8bu-10's weigh with bushing and empty holes.

8bu-10

I am far from an expert. That is a question for Tony ( YAMMIEGOD). I think the loaded weight should be 53 g. I think the outer should be a 4.5 and the inner 4.0 leaving 44 g forthe blank.

the blank from the charts are 45.41 without bushings..

MONSTER MINE ARE 4.5. TIP 4.5 INNER. THEY ARE 53.67, 53.60, 53.71. I PULLED THEM EARLIER WHEN I SAW YOUR FIRST POST. I PLAYED LAST NIGHT, SECONDARY WAS 51/36 CAM WITH GREEN SPRING @ 80. 8500 ALL THE WAY WITH ARMS STRETCHED. I THOUGHT YOU HAD A HANDLE ON THESE. 3:16 (yammie tony)

well really couldn't do any testing this winter and just installed them end of last season and my track blew..so no I am still in test mode..If the ditch at least would have snow..I could be testing all day here..I was running around 53.4 total but lugged motor to much..good mid range but no top end.
So gonna drop to 52 grams and see it that will be better..but all depends on the weather now...looks like Spring now...damn

I was wandering how green spring at 70 compares to 80 wrap..Probably if you have good traction you want 80,but doesn't that slow the shift somewhat..wouldn't be good on a trail as it would probably backshift a lot..

if I take a nut and a magnetic scale on top of the nut that would sit on the helix ramo top and bottom on my 51/43 helix(Turk's trick) I seem to be getting around 50/40..so that ain't to bad.Don't know how you can pull 4.5 in each hole but power to ya..3:16
