Didnt think the Older Style was that bad.Actualy I really like it Just wanted the color options .

Í think its 2.5"total ? All the stock cables & wires , just had reroute them a bit.
Shud have gone higher, but then you need cables and longer wiring for sure .
Probley shud have gotten the Boss logo on seat , break up the blue , but whatever ?
Boss Seats are now made back in the USA ....

Softer seat foam then the older ones?
Fit is much better than the other seat as that one required some creative foam carvin to get it to even be close to acceptable .
The New Boss Seat just went over the fuel neck & down onto the existing velcro.
I used the same snaps as well. Just plopped in place of the old one .
I think if I had played with it a bit , I can tighten up the tank gap its less than 1/2" gap now .
So Ya they fit better IMOP. But so shud of the 1st one (made overseas) It kinda pissed me off in the 1st place , but I am pleased this time round .
Foam feels bout same as 1st seat. But havent rode yet . NO FRIGGIN SNOW

I talked to BOSS reps a couple weeks ago, I have a Zipper problem on two seats. They are repairing or replacing both seats this summer at there cost. I just have to cover the shipping. What a deal. I would have to say, BOSS is a great company to work with. I do like the new colors. I hope they will just replace with a new version. I would pay the upgrade to new colors, no problem. The two effected seats have over 4,000 miles, I was surprised they are fixing, but no questions asked warranty. Al
