did anybody heard something about removing the restrictor on the sx viper tune pipe.
peaple cut the pipe around 3 inch of the flange that goes to silencer, remove the little restrictor (in the pipe if you remove the silencer and look with a light in the pipe(not silencer) you'll see a pipe that restrict the flow, after welding the pipe and it's done
my friend just bought a sx viper and it is done on it.... and the guy said that was increaser power a bit but he doesn't know if he change the jet because it was done by a yamaha dealer....
did anybody already see that on viper ..?

There has been talk on here about doing it, but to my knowledge, nobody has. Wonder if it makes the flow comparable to a Bender? How does it sound?

the mains jets are probably changed but the guy that sell it to my frends is don't know id it was really made...
today I see that the pipe wasn't the same that my 02 viper but in the parts catalog it the same .....
I will do some reseach about what pipe it is
