hey guys in a pinch here went for a ride today and my 01 srx died on the side of the trail no worning nothing sled has no spark i have tested stator and wiering harness and cant find anything. and i have a ride to go on tomorrow cant find anything wrong sled has bran new cdi on it as well
 

I remeber reading about one of the relays for the hi or low beams causing problems like this. I dont remember the exactdetails but the guy pulled on sled till his arms nearly fell off. Hit the hi lo switch and it fired right up. Long shot but worth a try
 
Sounds more like a wiring harness problem if the stator and cdi are fine. Did you check the entire harness for a rub thru?
 
i have came to the end of my rope im changing the hole electrical system harness and all realys my cdi is brand new and so is my stator and voltage regulator.
 
looks like i sold the sled i got an offer today for 1500 and im done with the sled its going to a great home the guy buying it is like my second dad so i can use the sled when i want

sorry u had to go thru that much grief. when u get to ride it be respectful. they demand that. will be tempting to thrash it hard.

Just west of sudbury and north of manatulin island ...thats in ontario.

I'm having the same thing, no spark, well very dimm and sometimes no spark, great snow storm we had eh ! I'm from val caron and wanted to go riding before the warm weather and rain, but guess not.
