just wondering if the drain holes in the bottom of my breather box were made or if they come like that . Having some trouble in fluffy snow with the carbs icing up, its a 97 mountain max

They come that way. Do you have carb heat/is it turned on? Not sure about a 97 but my 02 has heated carbs

'98 was the first year with then carb heaters. Make sure you have the triangle shaped filter on the top of the airbox to prevent the snow from entering the top. Stock there is one in the hood as well.

Ya, 97s were bad for carb icing. I plugged those holes with little plastic caps and drilled a few smaller ones. Have done it on all my air boxes.

I used that foil tape and plugged all mine up just so there is less mess under the box from oil/gas draining down.
