Help, Viper Carb vent line leaking gas at idle
Help, Carb hose leaking gas at idle. It's a verticle plastic hose that runs down by airbox side of carbs. See picture where I'm pointing to it with a blue pen.
It's seems to stop poring out when I squeeze the throtle.
Please help as I'm going to UP Mich on Monday morning!
THANKS!!

Just replace the lines and you will be all set! Do u have anywhere locally to get them?

I don't think replacing this hose will change anything as it is just a hose running done with a open end.

those are your vent lines. either a stuck or improperly adjusted float, or a bad inlet valve or seat

take off carb rack and clean carbs, I would pull the needle and seat in that one and clean filter and check to see if anything is in the needle/seat, it only takes a small foriegn object to hang 1 up and do that.

I think I found the problem.
One of the float needle values rubber seat was worn down to the metal. So I am replacing them all. I hope this was the issue but need to wait till Monday morning to get parts and know for sure.
