well today was the second time I started the SRX after the mod was done.Last time took 4 pulls after a day of standing.Today after 1 week of standing and in the garage it sputtered on 3rd pull,fired up on the 4th.It used to take me 8 to 10 pulls after a week of sitting.Will keep an eye on how this mod does over all,but seems to be helping me alot.
I have the mod done on my 2002 and it does help cold starting. Only issues I have come across is...it now will not idle at 1/2 choke position anymore during initial warm up as its too rich...when you take the choke off it also won't idle initially because its too lean. Before the mod I used to be able to let it warm up at 1/2 choke until it started to sputter then choke off for normal idle. Just needs a little more attention now.

funny you say that Bob..exactly what is happening with mine to.Also had a really hard time setting my idle correctly after warming motor up good.Ended up setting idle to around 15-1600 rpm.That is why when I start it cold it doesn't idle to much and have to hit the throttle more.I can live with that I guess.
