Just picked up an 02 SRX for $2000. Clean sled I tried to get it for cheaper but couldn't find a scratch to bargain with! I'm pumped! The guy said he never touched the powervalves and bought it in 04 with less than 200 miles on it. He bought an apex in 08 and kept this one around. I'll be going over it in the next few weeks. Any problems with DCS and porting or a BB?? Can I get rid of the DCS if I needed too? The guy rode out of Grand Marais MI and these Yooper sleds look like gems compared to downstate sleds!!!! Did I mention I'm pumped?!?!?

Before I get my hand slapped I just read the DCS sum up thread. Good read. Although good fuel is not an option in many of the rural UP gas stations.

In my opinion. DCS is really the biggest attraction to the 2002, I dont think there is much else different between 00, 01 and an 02. Othere then the DCS.
The carb jetting on the 02 is the same as the 00 due to the DCS.
01 jetted to be a little more rich just to be safe as there is no DCS to tell you about detonation.
