Hey guys. I'm in the process of raising my handlebars a little more on my MM. I'm at the max with the stock cables. I have already got the longer brake line and throttle/oil line. I'm looking for a longer parking brake line, I do not want to remove it. I have found some info that says a cable from a RX1 mountain would work and are longer, can someone confirm this for me? Thanks, Soc

Are you certain you need to replace it? I put 5.25" of riser on my MM and used the stock parking brake with zero issues.

Yes, right now I have 5'' with just extending the brake line. trying to go 2'' more and it's getting tight.

Good luck, I had the same problem on my 77 Exciter build and ended up buying another cable and then making a splicer connector. It works great, but a real pain in the a$$ to do.

Another option would be to scrap the parking brake cable idea and see if Mountain Performance still sells the Yamaha brake handle with the locking lever. Just a thought.
