Okay so I could not find my snowmobile mechanic with the tool that takes the fixed sheave off the spider so I decided to do it myself with a screwdriver and a hammer :o| :o| :o| NOT FUN, NO TORCH. I then proceeded to take the sliders off and the pins that go with it. Wow. That is not easy either. I think I found my WOT issue. The old clutch with the slider removed still does not slide very easily up and down the spider shaft. Binding everywhere. The new one with the sliders installed goes up and down without any force. Just got to get Yamaha mechaninc to apply some red loctite and torque the spider into the fixed sheave at 145 lbs.

Am I missing anyrthing else?

Thanks BlueWho. I may take you up on that offer to get it together again.
