The light and fuel gage flashes 8 times, anyone have ideas?

With the fuel emblem lighting up, it sounds to me like it thinks it's low on gas. If it's not, then possibly something wrong with the fuel sender?

my gaz units its **** too went the tank is full the light blink till the gaz go lower in tank then in stop flashing ...does it flash all the time or all depend the level in the tank

It was the fuel sending unit was bad if anyone ever has this problem again. 8 flashes
