How To? What's Needed? Fox Floats Rear/Rear Skid Swap

Ok I have a viper mountain first I have wanted to put fox floats on it ever since I have found out it cound be done. The problem is I am unsure how. So I have some questions for people that do. First I know I need to widen my stance.
How wide do I need to go?
What radius rods do I need to get to get the correct width?
What sleds can I get the rods from?
Can I use BETHEVIPERS wideing kit?
Which Widing kit do I need?

Also I know the viper has a clevis style mount for the front shocks I have heard you can use a older style bracket like from a 98 SRX to mount it. Some questions I have about that is....
Is it true I can use that style mounting bracket?
Where do I mount it?

Where do I drill the holes so it will be strong?

Next I need to know how long of floats I can use. I have heard some people have used 17.5 floats.
Is that the longest float I can go with?
If not how long can I go?
If so what sleds had those shocks stock so I can start looking for some?

I know that there are alot of questions I am just trying to help myself better understand how its done and I am sure that there are others out there that are thinking the same way as me. So if there is anybody out there that could help out that would be awesome.

Next I was thinking about putting a longer track on my viper mountain. I was thinking about going with a Nytro MTX 153 Skid.
First do I need to get the drivers From the Nytro?
Or can I just buy a 153 track witha 2.52 pitch and run my stock drivers?
Or do I need to get the 3.0 pitch drivers and run a nytro track and cut the lugs down to fit?

Also This will be the first time I have done a skid swap.
Can anyone give me some tips?
What do I need to pay attention to?
I have heard I need the measurements from the sled the skid came from.
How do I measure?
From what to what?

If anyone has any experience or advice on anything listed above your information would be very helpful

Also if im missing a question or if you have some advice i havent asked for that you can give feel free to give it.

Pictures and advice greatly apprieciated

Thanks guys

get measurements from donor sled. Measure from axle to center of first hole and from center of first hole to center of second hole. also measure down from top of tunnel down to center of holes. On the 4 stroke side you can do a search and get measurements. Thats where i got mine. Not to bad a job. Just measure, measure again and measure again and drill. I did a combo of using and relocating my old mounting brackets. Added some 16ga. steel to front mount to make stronger. I also used 1/4 in button head bolts instead of rivets to mount brakets. Thats up to you how you want to do that. Some guys on here used brackets from donor sled which is good idea too. As far as other stuff I know it can be done just havnt done myself. I know one guy on here put fox floats his viper but had some kind of issue and took them back off. maybe he can chime in
