does anybody know of a good, cheap place to rebuild ohlins front shocks for a 98 srx 700. I wrecked my sled and the shaft on the ohlins snapped off so i am missing the shaft and the bottom portion of the shock. I am having a hard time finding just one shock for sale so I'd like to get this one repaired if i can. thanks.

I have 2 for sale. Both have bent loops. Not sure if the parts you need are good on them. PM me and I'll make you a good deal. Click in my sig for my post.

Does anyone know how to do this work yourself? I service my own motocross stuff but what kind of special tool are needed for these shocks to simple change oil? thanks

I had one of mine rebuilt as the seal had gone. It was done by a fellow near Guelph, i forget the company name. It was more expensive than I had though, something like 240 bucks. Apparently the shaft was pitted so it had to be replaced.

So keep in mind that a used one may be price comparable or even cheaper than a rebuilt one.
