well im in the process of putting my sled back together, and i just want to know what you guys think..i have a 2003 viper all stock except for a slp can..my question is what should i set my carbs at to be safe...i have my oil cable at 21 and the carb is all in stock positions..i did have a slight idle hang and a small bog at bottom end when i wot from a stop..so should i raise the needle..and if so how many grooves..an should i leave the cable at 21 or close the gap a bit to add oil..i noticed my sled dont use much oil..so what direction should i go?

Did slp have any recomendations for carb adjustment?Alot of guys are moving up clip position with stock exhaust. As far as oil cable goes Smaller measurement= more oil, larger measurement = less oil. Keep in mind to much oil can cause lean fuel condition.
no slp says no carb adjustments needed..but still wanted to make sure i would be fine or if i should raise the needle or not...and besides i have a slight idle hang aswell..so i think i might need to turn my screw to 2 turns out to get rid of that..just looking for advice

Great article by Mr. Viper here. Yeah, 2 turns out on fuel screws should help with the idle hang too.
