we got a good 8+ inches last night and its still coming down now. only bad thing is that our county has decided to not open the trails this season period. thinking behind it is it may damage property that is private. they groom normally at about 6-8 inches but this year is different? #$%&*

We keep having the winter that never was here in wny. Guess 36 miles is all Im going to get. Whatever F**k it time to ride motorcycles

Right in the middle of Green Lake County. Pretty much rained all day. The we had steady snow for an hour inthe evening, which of course melted as soon as it contacted the ground.

we got 4 inches of fresh snow and it is still coming. The winds are going to pick up and temps will drop.Gonna be an awesome weekend for sledding and probably the last because it will be warming up next week,rain..etc..

ive got to ride around our block maybe 10 times this year. all i can say is, it better snow next year!! i passed up buying a quad for a mrviper 780!! i wil be going through my sled completley and next season ill be ready to ride.

el nina years mean lack of snow and milder then normal..mostly drought years..don't hold your breath. We will all have to go to Europe to do sledding I think or Alaska..but that would be an expensive road trip.Hauling sleds by plane will cost you about as much as the sled costs...

well the plus side is the later we get snow into this year the sooner winter comes again, if that makes sense

if it comes again...Nasa has stated that we are in the belt where droughts will remain constant for the next 30 years.Things will be changing climate wise.Warmer winters(summer like) and areas in the world that never really get snow ,will be an annual event for them.Sled manufacturers don't care..they will just move their plants and build sleds over there...as long as they keep selling sleds or it will all be over for the industry.I think with the price of goods now, demand slowing down and prices going up..some of these builders may be in trouble in the near future...bad economy will dictate ...people will rather put food on the table then running their sleds with $10 00 gallon plus gas.I would say if snow keeps getting less and less in areas where it is known to be bountiful and gas keeps climbing..sledding will not be an important part of life for most people.Still got to pay your Bills first..disposable income will drop.

just finished snow blowing the driveway 2nd time tonight.Man had 2 feet of snow to blow.Tomorrow will be a blast for riding .We got over 5 inch's of the new stuff..Going to be colder all weekend as well..so a riding I will go. a riding a will go..hi ho..hi ho..its off to sled I go..
