Taillight out on Phazer II

The tailight/brake light quite working on my Phazer II, I changed the bulb and checked the connection under the seat, but still not working. Anything else I should check?

Check that the inside of the socket and the contacts at the bottom are clean as well as the terminals in the connector under the seat. See that the black wire has a good connection at the socket.

The contacts looked clean on the plug and on the socket.

a few things you can start with, whichever is easier.

check the wires from the plug to the bulb socket for continuity or

remove the taillight lens and the base and you will find three bullet connectors attaching the wire from the plug to the base. confirm these are attached.

once you have confirmed all is in working order from the plug back, work the plug forward to the switch on the bars at the brake lever.
