yamaha 8R9 Srx 500?

I have came across some old yamaha pistons and rings. The box is fulled with 76 & 77 srx pistons and rings. But at the bottom i found one 8R9 piston and two boxes of 8R9 rings. The piston has 44 inked on top. Is this for the 82 srx 500?

Yeah i dont have any 82 srx stuff, and i dont see myself messing with any of it either. But i plan on keeping the rest.
