Any body know what piston they used in there big bore? I seem to remember that he used two different pistons. Do you know the part numbers?

Thanks for the info guys. My friend sent his cyl and what is left of the piston to U.S. Chrome. They said the piston is not a Wisco. I think I heard they (Masimum) used two different pistons. They had a early design and a later one. I believe the second design used the Wiscos. Any body know what piston they used that was not a wisco? Could he change all his pistons to Wisco, or any other OEM options out there?
Thanks Bruce

As amato srx said its a arctic cat 550 twin piston, they used those because they were cast and could run a tighter skirt to wall and get better reliability from them. You also need to run the spacer plate under the cylinders to use them as the compression distance on the piston wasnt the same so they used a cylinder spacer.
The wisecos are still used today and were used by max. perf. I would imagine youd need to redo the head set up with going back to a wiseco and have more piston to wall clearance, so you might be better off using what the engines already set up for.
