Hello, I'm trying to pull my engine to send to Mrviper700 for a rebuild since a cylinder blew. Does anyone have a clutch puller for a sx viper mountain'04 I could use? I live in Boulder Colorado? I suppose I could buy one but i am trying to save my funds for the actual rebuild. (shoulder surgery and blown engine draining the $) thanks!

I have used the hydraulic method many times with no issues. All you need is the right size bolt and some teflon tape and water.
Turn the sled on its side. Fill the primary clutch hole (after removing bolt) with water. Get a bolt that has the proper threads that the clutch puller would use. Teflon tape the threads. Use an impact to ram in the remover bolt.... POP... The cluth should come right off.
Some will say using an impact on the cark is bad but I dont see an issue because it is not hammered home and the impact hammering is not directly going to the crank due to the bolt never being driven home. You are just compressing the water.
Hope this helps. It is the cheapest puller I know of.
