Ive got an 03 viper that I have run for 3 years now. It has a 136 hartmann ext kit and a 1.25 ripsaw on it already. I will be working on a sleigh project this year so i can pull the kids and also use for ice fishing. It is big enough to put 3 or 4 kids in so im looking at doing some clutch and/or gear work. I also woudlnt mind having some more low end as im not a 125 kind of guy. I just like to get to 90 right NOW. I have little experience with any clutch work. Can i get away with leaving the clutch stock and just doing gear work? Or should I do both?

Gear it down. That way it will pull the load easier. I would use HC's. I really like the way they grab the belt. The engeagement may be a little higher but it will will pull strong.
Hc40-10 red spring 3G heel with red hc spring 05 warrior helix stock viper spring,40 tooth bottom sprocket . Engages at 4500 rpm will crawl down the trail, will hit 100 mph, revs to 8600rpm. This is what is in my dads 05 venture 700 with power valves(Canadian edition)
