So eventually I am going to have to replace the training arm rear attatchment. Pipe pivot is what I think it called. This looks not fun. I am thinking I need Yamaha rivets, and a pnumatic rivet gun. Is that a correct thought? Any suugestions on a manufacturer for the gun. I do not need the gold plated one, but I would like it not to be a single serving either. and how evil of a task is this? looks like the lower panel must come off. Then drill out the old. Pop in the new. Anything to be aware of? Thanks

Some guys use nut and bolt to re-install those plates. I think I would use a stainless cariage bolt style with the nylock nuts or double nut it.

I picked up one of these when I did my first two Tunnels. (100+/- rivets each) I worked great. I upgraded to a nicer one and gave this one to my brother. It is still working fine.

As for rivets. I got some "Mega grip" revits from a local machine shop. Worse case order OEM ones. You can pop them by hand but your arms will scream at you. Good luck

I ordered the pivot pipe, so here we go. When it comes in I will probably have more questions.

For those realy large rivets I borrowed an electric riveter that had a drill motor and a special head. Maybe you can rent or borrow one.
