Well when I heard it was going to go to around -5 C overnight..I decided to get up early and get an early start before it warms up.It was still slightly dark out and left at 7:30.It was perfect and crisp out.Took to the river to do SRX wot runs again since there are some nice straight away areas packed down.River is really rough due to all the sled tracks everywhere. I used my 8dn-20's with weights loaded to 51.7 grams total. Also slapped in my dalton 51/43 with green spring at 70,.stock primary spring. She had kick to it when I snapped the throttle. The Sun wasn't up yet so did some long pulls and finally was hitting 110 on speedo and then hit 115 on speedo. I think the 51/43 always does better then stock 47..with the 47 was reving up to about 8500 but then drops down to 81-8200.the 51/43 at wot stayed at around 8600..sometimes 8700 and at least it didn't drop off.So I will keep this setup now and can tweak with wrap..possibly will add a 1 gram washer under the outer 4.5 rivet to get spot on and do final adjustments with the wrap. Sure launches great also picking up the ski's some with the traction..
Later towards 11 am it was already getting warmer and the snow was softer and my speeds dropped off to about 103-105.You could feel the extra resistance from the sugar like snow drag the motor down at launch,so headed home to park it.At least I put on another 83 miles...

season is over blue ..............waiting for next years to try different things lollll

we still have alot of snow in northern nb.last trip here yesterday 115 mph early in morning when was froze only 110mph when it got warmer still fun

Stuck the fork in this "riding season" today. Launched from my parents place (0 snow @ home) rode the trail east 15 miles......dirt. Turned around and head west made it around 40 miles west......dirt. Headed north and looped back around ended up with 77 on the odometer fo today. Found out the 99 srx 700 fonded nicknamed "stump rash" dont skip the deep puddles as well as I had hoped......More of a torpedo! Oh well it was nearly 60 so being soaked wasnt all that bad, we had a BLAST!

Congrats on the top speed. My fastest run has been 111,8 (180 km/h) this year, the river has not got a real hard track on it, it's pretty loose. It's snowing right now, so there won't be real high numbers tomorrow either.

at least you can still have fun norwegian..hit 12 C here today and a lot of melt.If I wanted to I still could take my 600 out to the River tomorrow morning for a final blast..I will see how cool the morning is,snow is getting low along th ditch so will be kinds iffy...just checked the temps for tonight..it will be above 0..like 4 C..so forget about any more riding..1280 miles put on with sleds this season, half the amount of last season..I saved on the expensive gas also...lol
