Any recomendations on a 'mild' stud pattern for a 96 VMax 600 XT? I recently brought the sled back to stock, including a stock style track. Looking for something decent for trail riding and an occasional rip across the pond.

btw...I'm in Western Mass, so I run mainly on ungroomed, hard-packed trails...not much deep powder
studs
This is another opinion question , but ...
I am a huge fan of double backers, and have never lost a stud..(broken backers, and bent studs, but never torn my track, or other damage...)
In that sled - mild...I'd run 96 studs v pattern in the middle(double backers naturally) I ran that set up in sno x and worked well.
As far as a brand---well I believe thats a chevy ford mopar thing...decide the length (depends on track, and brand of stud), but probably 1.00 stud with oem track, or if you upgraded track 1.075/1.080---IMO
PS- we dont have squat fro snow now, and hope you bring some in FEB.

Thanks for your opinion
It's good to hear what folks have done that has worked well...and not so well!
I've never run a studded track, or studded one...but I ran with some other 600's last year, and traction was a big differentiator.
BTW...we got 22" this weekend. Unfortunately, it looks like 45 and rain for this Thursday
