Thanks srx hair. Summer project;
- stretching to 136 with cobra 1.35 on existing Expert X
-2006 Apex riser
-new 2012 blue and black Boss Seat
-Pilot skis

Will post pics when done

Very nice looking sled I wish mine looked that clean. One thing I noticed in your photos is that you don't have the aluminum foil coated insulation on the belly pan and hood. I thought Yamaha put that in to keep the pipes from discoloring/damaging those parts becaues of heat exposure?

I bought the sled like that. Hood and belly pan still look great. 6200 miles on sled.

I am waiting for the seat. Ordered 3 weeks ago. I'll let you know when i get it.

Just received my BOSS seat. Doesn't fit around the tank. I don't know what mold they used to make the seat but definitely needs some shaving. Not a difficult job but for the price you pay for these seats they should be slap on and go.

I do love the seat. Storage is huge and the height is awsome. Did the shaving and fits very nicely around the tank. Need higher bar riser. Seating is better than my Apex with the BOSS seat.

Here is my work in progress. Just put the 136 incg track and Expert X back in and the BOSS seat. :2strokes:

I ordered the BOSS seat from FIRST PLACE PARTS LLC. Needed to do some shaving to get the seat to fit up against the tank. Very easy with a sharp knife.

Here is the finished product. 136 inch Cobra 1.35 track, extended Expert X, BOSS SEAT, 2006 Apex bar riser, and Temp Gauge. I am thinking EGT's but i hate to drill holes in my pipes and have them start to crack. :bump: ;)!
