New Yorkers??


Born and raised in Rochester(Western NY). Snowmobile in Adirondacks, Tug Hill, and Western NY.

Rode 100 miles Dec 26 on Tug Hill, wasn't Great but was worth it.

where is Ti, NY?
 
I live the mohawk valley, the land of rain and no snow...usually i ride arounf here, but i also like to ride around speculator, caroga lake, and when the trails are good i'll truck it to tug hill....
 
It's actually called Ticonderoga, Ny; right on the northern part of Lake George. I also right tug hill, Inlet, speculator, Saranac Lake, Prospect mountain...etc.

Yes you are. My mother in law lives there. It's about a 2 hr ride for me. Are there trails that will go from Schroon to Ti?
 
Yeah there is a local trail system. It all depends where you start at, if you start near or on paradox Lake you can rap it around fleming pond rd which is right of the back side of paradox. That road is not plowed and my cousin has a groomer and hits it once in awhile. From there you can go to eagle lake which goes right to another trail system which leads to Ticonderoga.

I know of a trail that from Schroon Lake you can make it to Lake george, I personally haven't been on that one but plan on it IF we get more snow...
 
I Live In Eden,ny The South Towns,ride In Cherry Creek Around Erie County Trails. This Winter Totally Blows So Far This Year,ther Is Nothing Here At All.....................
 
Snowy New York

I'm from snowy, NY...NOT. I live in Andes, NY in the Catskill "Mountains". Two and a half hours and I'm riding on Tug Hill. When there is snow that is.

Born and raised in Webster, NY, went to college in Buffalo and I've been here ever since. Have never riden in WNY or Rochester for that matter, do all my riding in Old Forge, Inlet, Big Moose, Boonville, Stillwater, Beaver River, and other surrounding areas. This winter has been awful so far, can't believe the lack of snow, I don't remember a winter this bad, ever! Hoping for some serious snow! :yam:
 
Glenville Ny here....I ride the Great sacandaga Lake..Old forge and speculator....Most of the time is spent making speed runs on the lake..... :flag:
 
Orange County, NY here (Newburgh area). Grew up on Lawn Guyland (Long Island). 3.5 hours to Tug Hill or Old Forge areas. -Steve (O.C.)
 
I'm from NY. just recently moved here. Hoping to get some snow....Having problems registering...The reg. is telling me that I'm supposed to have 13- 17 digit vin# and I only have eight total...does anyone else have that many digits in there vin#
 
tried that it doesn't show up enough for them to see it. The registry told me I need to take a picture or have a police station write something stating that is the vin on the sled....I just don't understand how they are telling me that it is supposed to be 13- 17 digits long....
