I have a few plans for this.. :D

Nice! Looking at te car in the back ground we have more than yamaha in common. I have a few near mint srx's and no offense but I drive chevy pick ups resembling the car in the back ground.

welcome back..since you no longer have the Viper..change your avator will ya.You'll love the SRX much better.Just keep it in nice stock condition and make sure everything is working good and it will treat you right.First thing is check out what is in the carbs for jetting and make sure it is correct.

Have not seen you in several years.

Last time I seen you post you had a picture of straight pipes poking out the side of your viper

Lol the car belongs to my mother in laws son, he had quite the accident and temperment... For the srx I'm going to clean the carbs make sure the jetting is correct and clean. I'm going to replace the track with a 1 1/4 and studs, clutching is a must for top speed and that's all.. I'm in the process of finding a set of hauck growlers but its dam near impossible to find in canada.. This sled is gonna be a runner.

I found that the factory 01 main jetting is perfect for a stock motor. I did bump up 1 size on the pilots to 42.5 and turned the fuel screws out to 1.75

Idle is set at 1600

This beast idles perfectly and does't drop in RPM when given a shot. Weird, i found usually every sled i owned at least dropped down a couple hundered in RPM when a shot of gas is given.

I'm not done with the whole*cleaning* of this yet. Tom, you wouldn't know where I can get myself a set of HauckGrowlers off hand would you?.. lol

I would leave the exhaust alone but it looks like there is a Bender silencer on there already. Besides some extra noise, your not gaining anything. I would buy a few clutch parts for clutching and make that thing fly!! I would put the stock exhaust back on it.

You have a beautiful sled. I would hate to see you spend the money on an ugly silencer that does nothing.

Yea I'm aware of the loss of hp but in all honesty how much can it reduce the top speed of this particular sled. Growlers make me smile...lol yes there is a bender can but I also have the stock box. I want to make this thing fly too tom. My buddie just bought a old school 2000 mach millenieum edt 800.he says it can go like the snot so I want to roast this thing. Clutch kits, gearing, track.. Wwjd lol
