little oil leaking from pump normal?

right where the cables go into the pump by the clutch . i see a little oil leaking a small amount , is that normal or do i have a bad gasket or o ring , thanks

its a 480 venture 121" like a 91 model , it runs ok but i was a little consern when i see a few drips when it sits over nite

probably a seal or gasket issue.Take it apart and investigate.I have my own issue with my water pump leaking after I replaced all parts 2 seasons ago..what a pain.

I think there is a small oring on the shaft that drives the tach,unsrew the tach cable and see if it starts to leak out of the cable fitting on the pump.
