Does anyone know if the new dual runner ski that yamaha just brought
Out will fit my 2002 viper?
It looks like yamaha changed mounts in 2002/2003 for some
Reason.. I'd like to buy them as they seem to be cheaper
Then the ats arrow skis..
Thanks for you help

they will bolt right on. lower spindle is the same on all yamaha sleds other than nitros and the newest apex. Even those share the same bolt pattern and only the rubber is changed.
The skis work great, they could look a little better. lay a $100 on each one and take a picture, put it in your wallet for when you wish they looked better. Then you can take it out and see how much you saved over the arrows.

I use shaper bars. One 6 inch and one 4.5 inch bar per ski,60 degree carbide. $85 and $75 per pair..total $160 plus tax..REAL EXPENSIVE. Add the ski price into iut also and it is crazy, but them ski's turn on anything instantly....concrete,grass,ice ,snow..whatever..they turn...

What is wrong with the stock skis?I have the same pair the sled came with and it has done all i have ever asked it to.Single 6 in carbide that is replaced every two years or so.Any more than that your arms will fall off by the end of the day running ontario trails.
If your sled darts look for worn out front end parts [you will find them ] and proper adjustments are needed for it to run like it came out of the crate 10 years ago lol

I agree. I had c and a skis on my blue viper and I went back to a stock set for now with 6 inch carbides on both my vipers and had no troubles at all.

I think you should try the ski with the stock carbides. Total for the ski in the us is 250 for a set including carbides. They work very well. i am sure later shaper will be making their taller bar for them. On the arrows, the shaper bars were a little overkill. The stock bars are square stock. if you do a search on the 4stroke side i have a thread with pictures, measurements and comparisons to arrows.
