i have an yamaha 92 ventere gt ,,any other yamaha sled has the same shock with the same size so i know i have an option to look for a rear shock, whats the stock size of my rear shock

It looks like for the 1992 model year the single seat "GT" model had the same torsion spring style "modified pro-action link" rear suspension as the Phazer II. So any after market shocks listed for the 1990 ~ 1998 models should work.

I think in 1993 they switched the venture GT model to the coil-over shock style "Pro-Action Link" rear suspension that was claimed to still be one of the best rear suspension in the industry in 93'!! (yet was released way back on the 1983 Vmax & SRV -LOL!!!!!)
