This is my SRX 440 1980 with IFS front suspension.
The history about this sled is in the -80s the previous owner of the sled bought a new sled for his wife with IFS suspension and he test the sled and after that he want IFS, but he was pleased with his SRX so he want the SRX with IFS.
He had a lot of money so he payed someone to convert the sled to IFS.
It´s a serious work!
I get a empty chassie later this week with regular suspension, maybe i switch chassi so i have regular front.

Thanks for info but i know it don´t good for the pto bearings, i have only run less than 5minutes att low rpms so i don´t think they are damaged, i have never think to run the engine without clutch att high rpms.
I gonna put the clutch on tommorrow anyway and meassure offset and maybe put the hood on.
Should i use standard offset 270mm / 5,5mm with a Comet 108?

YES OFFSET SHOULD BE 5.5..........AS FAR AS THE CENTER TO CENTER I HAVE GONE AWAY FROM THE STD YAMAHA 270 I SET MY CLUTCHS UP WITH DEFLECTION OF 1 TO 1 1/4 '' SEEMS TO WORK BETTER I STARTED TO DO THIS WITH MY CUSTOM BUILDS BECAUSE STD CENTERS WOULD NOT WORK FOR TOP PERFORMANCE ...........BUT THE 270 MM IS PERFECT FOR A TRAIL RIDERsuperpalten said:Thanks for info but i know it don´t good for the pto bearings, i have only run less than 5minutes att low rpms so i don´t think they are damaged, i have never think to run the engine without clutch att high rpms.
