as some of you know i have built a turbo banshee that you can view in the general section. the only issue that i have had with that is blowing reeds. now my question is can a stock 98 600 twin crank handle the extra ponies 4-5lbs may bring? i have a sizable turbo sitting in my garage that i had planned for another banshee but my funds ran short on building another motor from the ground up. i know damn near everything i have to do to set a carb engine up for boost, fuel pump, vacuum lines, regulator ect.... now i only plan on running a few lbs for mainly experiment purposes and to stay on pump fuel. my goal in the end is to have a pump gas ditch banger, i mean if the crossfires and m series do then i want to try it also. i am aware that i may need to get the crank welded if im pushing a good number but i highly doubt 4-5lbs is going to over 120-135hp im basing that number from what i heard these motors only push about 90hp stock.

i just spoke to powderlites and the guy told me he turboed a couple of them 9lbs of boost and they lasted about 10k miles and dynoed almost 170hp.
