Turbo. all i need to do is hook up a oil pump and its ready to test fire. but i need to no if the regulator puts out an ac or dc current because my pump is dc.
 
The stator puts out ac which is what most of your sled will be without a battery. The only clean dc will be a brown wire. Not sure where it will be on your sled. But it is usually in that group of wires up under the handlebars. Also the revers buzzer harness can be dc also and your sled will be wired for revers wether you hav e it or not. They had both so you will need to start the sled and test the current.
 
thatk you guys for the help i havnt located the wire yet because i an still mounting the air box but hopfully i can get a test run on the track stand tonight.
 
also if the brown wire from my tach is dc do i just take my neg off the pump and ground it to the frame or where to i ground the neg wire.
