I just used a 1/2 in dremel drum and measured the base before starting, I also measured the distance to the hump so I could keep the weights the same. I then just ground down almost 90deg from the face of the weight at engagement. I started with a good hard hitting trail setup with the middle loaded and the heal loaded that engaged with the grey spring around 4300ish, then ground the weights till I got the engagement up to 5500. It took several tries to get them correct. What I loved about these is you can make up some heal bolts to throw in for moving the sled around and loading on a trailer with low engagement, then just change them back to race.

DID THE SAME THING WITH RED SPRING AND H/C. ENGAGEMENT WAS 4500. NOTCHED THEM UNTIL ENGAGEMENT WAS 5500. EXACTLY SAME SPOT. NOT HARD TO DO. JUST GO SLOW. 3:16 (yammie tony)
I assume the engagement is this high with the heel empty or is this with the 6grams needed for 63gr total, I'm a little slow on the reading type I can read a picture alot better if someone has one
Thanks Guys
I'm going to be replacing the rings and wrist pins with new and testing next month for some upcoming grass drags I do have the 8BU-00 and Heelclicker setups but will need everything my SRX has for these 2 F7's here
Does anyone know were I can get the CDI reprogramed for 500 ft grass drags I have an extra stock one ?

If you can't find a box, you could change out your wire harness for a viper harness and run that box for drags, go gauge and all, it is much better for doing clutching, unless you compare it to a vdo. or you could get an 01 harness and still use a viper box.

RACE BOX FOR A 2000 SRX IS RARER THAN HENS TEETH. EXACTLY RIGHT, CHANGE YOUR HARNESS OUT AND FIND A 2002 VIPER CDI. STAGGS PICTURE IS PERFECT. CUT RIGHT WHERE THAT SLOPE IS. 3:16 (yammie tony)
