Maybe a dumb question but I know ceramic coating will work great for exhaust parts. How about powder coating? I'm hearing from some that powder coat will stand up to the heat but it sure seams like the manifold (at least) get's pretty warm. Any thoughts? Thanks.
My experience
I have done both. Ceramic holds up MUCH better. The powder coat manufacturer may say that it can withstand those temps......but it can't...at least not for very long.
Just my two cents.

Might be worth a try to ceramic the inside (would keep out side cooler) and powder the outside. Easy enough on like a manifold but I wouldnt try it on pipes or muffler/can.
Powder is good to 1000 degrees . Ceramic is good for manifolds.
