Hi everyone!
This is my first time here, so please bear with me if I have posted this in the wrong section. It's nice to be a member of these forums!
I would like to know the weights of several sleds, if possible--I know Yamaha weights are pretty hard to find. I have three sled models in question;
1. 1999 Mountain Max
2. 2007 Phazer Mtn. Lite
3. 2012-2013 Phazer MTX
Wet AND dry weights would be awesome, but either is fine really.
I'm looking to get a good used sled and get into mountain riding; so far I'm looking at a 2007 Phazer Mtn. Lite on Craigslist. I'm also curious as to whether the new models have lost much weight. I heard the '07's might be near 587 wet? I've also found several good 1999 MM's near my area, so I was curious about their weight (I've ridden a 2001 MM, I would say it felt about 615-630 wet?) I understand the differences between the sleds, just keeping my options open haha.
Any help is appreciated, and thoughts/opinions on the sleds are welcome! Thanks again.

the 99 mtn max was listed at 514 lbs dry for the 700, 505 lbs on the 600. if the ones your looking at still have the 136 track, depending on your intentions, they may not suit your needs without some changes.

the 2012 pz mtx is listed at 580 lbs wet.

Thanks! I'm really kind of surprised the Phazers weigh so much haha. But I guess with weight distribution/height they will still handle far better than a MM in the pow.
One of the MMs I looked at had a 136" track, the other a 141" (and painted tunnel with can exhaust). I have to ride about 30-40 min. of trails to get to the mountains, so I'm not strictly 100% mountain, but I don't care for bombing down trails. I'm just looking for a sled that will allow me to cruise through the powder bowls and enjoy the scenery, so I think either sled will do.
Thanks again for your input!

Thanks for the input guys. The MMs are $1000-$1500 cheaper, so I guess that's the route I'll go. The reliability and mileage of the 4-strokes are nice, but the 700 triple is a great engine from what I hear. I think once I get a mountain seat and some handlebar risers, it should be able to boondock pretty well.
