Hey guys,
I'm going to be rebuilding my Pro-Action this fall with new bushings. Was thinking about ordering the kit from Pioneer Performance, shimming what I can out of that kit etc. Would I be better off just ordering the individual bushings through Port Yamaha and shimming the others? Has anyone purchased the kit through Bruce? Just looking for some feedback. Thanks----Brian
Not too soon to wish for snow is it? The heat here is stupid.......

i have gotten them from him, no problems. they are just oem bushings though in his proaction kits i think. i have used some of his bushings he makes for the 4 strokes and liked them, they last alot longer than oem. i only live 20 minutes away from there and he has always been good to deal with.
The relay rods, if they have bushings, should be replaced with rods that have bearings.
If you have a worrior, you can have a machine shop machine out the ends to the correct size and install the bearings. you cant get bushings to live in there, even if you add grease fittings. Too small a collar for the pressure that goes through it and too much rotation.
unless your sled is fubar, you wont need a complete kit.
If it needs anything, it will need a new upper shaft for the w arm and all 6 w arm bushings. The rest is rarely worn out. you might want to buy a lower sissors shaft in the back as well. This helps take the rock out of your sled. The rest needs to just be shimmed tight.
