this might sound a little dumb but do yamaha clutches come with rivits in the weights? i broke a primary spring and when i was taking it appart i noticed the rivits. the sled is a 600 SXR that i bought used and was just wondering if this was something that the previous owner was playing with.
thanks
thanks

mr.sled so when people say that you have to add weight to the weights to bring the rpm down this is where i put it? and are these rivits just drilled out? thanks for your help
yes, depending on how the sled is running on the bottom or top you can add weight (rivet sizes) to the inner hole or the tip hole to help control the RPM. Some of the thin head rivets you can pound out with a straight punch and support block and the bigger heads need to be drilled.

If you want a set up that works really well try this:
8ab's with 2.4 grams in the inner hole stock spring
51/43 helix with the stock spring at 70*
Drop 1 tooth on the top gear in the chaincase
