Hey, a friend of mine is interested in getting a Nytro MTX 2010-2013 model (or maybe an Arctic Cat M1100--oh no :P ), and had a few questions. Seeing as how I'll probably get to ride his sled as well, I thought I'd help him out and post here. :D

First off, does anyone know the dry weight of a 2013 Nytro MTX? Last I heard, they weighed ~530 lbs dry (2010 model), but I'm not even 100% sure on that number. I'm pretty sure the Cat M1100 is around 550 dry?

Secondly, does anyone know how a Nytro would compare in handling to an Arctic Cat M1100? Not sure if this is the best place to ask this, but what the hey, it's worth a shot. He's never done sidehilling or carving before but is interested. He's coming off a 2001 Mountain Max.

Lastly, what kind of gas mileage do the Nytros get? We do a mix of trail, powder bowl, and big hill riding (not highmarking or anything) so we aren't that hard on the throttle. I've heard reports ranging from 12 mpg to 20, so I was a little confused.

I would just ask a dealer, but they aren't always the best source for real-world info haha, plus I'm stuck in Texas for the summer... Thanks for any help. Peace off!
