I read last year on one these threads that Viper Shocks can be installed on a narrow ski stance sled like a M-Max without changing the rods or sway bar. How is this done? The shock has to be compressed about 2" to get the bolts in. Are the springs readjusted? If so how much? Anything else need to be done?

look to see if they have removable brackets where the top eyelet would bolt---if so you need to take them off and transfer the bushings from the brackets over to the bulkhead itself, the shocks should bolt up then.
