I read last year on one these threads that Viper Shocks can be installed on a narrow ski stance sled like a M-Max without changing the rods or sway bar. How is this done? The shock has to be compressed about 2" to get the bolts in. Are the springs readjusted? If so how much? Anything else need to be done?

Shock Mounting
Hey,
I put viper shocks on my 97 sx this year. I had to take off the bracket on the top and hook the new shock direct. You will need to take the spacer from your old shock since the viper shock is u shaped on top.
