whats the best bang for your buck set up out there? i dont really want more top end (although it would be nice), i want more low-mid range. i love going off the trails, things like that. im planning to go to a 136" rail extention with maybe a 2" lug also.
this is what TURK (RIP) posted for Heelclicker setup
50/40 Helix, Red Heelclicker ,4.2g in heel, 1st hole empty, 4.5 G in the tip with Green Secondary Spring. Also can run a 48 or 46 initial angle & 2.4g in 2st hole and a little less in the tip

I liked that 53/43 set up. Good corner to corner pull for trail riding. MRVIPER700 also has a bunch of nice set ups for heel clickers. He has a lot of knowledge and experence with the heel clickers. Do a search for viper heel clickers and you will find tons of info on them. Also in the tech section http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles/AAATuning Chart/Tuning_Chart.htm

Chris yours was the 53/43 green spring and 17.2mm (heavyest) rivets in both holes right? I think I'm gonna try that in both of mine, using a helix from pioneer in the red viper. Sounds like the most liked trail setup

Yup. Over rev was common in vipers even stock so per recommendations added the weight to the tip.
Alright thanks! I'll keep this in mind and maybe piece a kit together come closer to winter. One of my fathers friends has a viper and it's clutched so I'm going to wait and maybe take his for a ride and see how I like it and what he's done to his
