What is Washington State snowmobiling like? I was looking at some trail maps around the Southern Cascades. Is the snowmobiling good there? Am I to assume it's Mountain riding? I have a sister who retired to Onalaska, WA and I'm trying to decide if I got to visit her if it would be worth it to rent sleds and drive the hour or so distance to the Sno-Parks around Packwood or Randle.

I live about an hour north of there. We are in Tacoma and there is some good riding around the St Helens area but we ride the I 90 area which would be a 3 hour drive for you but totally worth it. There is a place you can stay in some cabins and also rent machines from there as well. What time of the year are you looking at the best time would be after first of the year.

PM for more information.

Thanks

I hadn't thought too much about time of year but probably would be after the first of the year for sure. It was one of those things I thought of while sitting around the fire with her & her husband. I'm not even sure it would work out this year or not.
