I have an 04 Viper S in the rebuild stage. Bought it with a bad crank. I would like to run pipes on this sled but ive heard the milage goes to crap. Does anyone make a triple egt anymore? I would like to run egt's so I can jet it in the sweet spot, get power, and ok mileage. Is 10mpg+ achieveable with tripple pipes ridden smoothly?

still available by digitron. most your aftermarket catalogues should show them. dennis kirk, hi-perf engineering, etc.
DT54 was the last unit i had on a set of triples. may have been updated since.

I have a 03 bender piped viper. Last winter I saw as low as 9 mpg and as high as 13mpg. But mostly it got 10-12mpg with it. It all depends on how you ride and the snow conditions. When i would be running nice packed trails i would get good mpg but when i go off the trail in deep snow it gets lower. It all depends on your style of riding and how the clutching/gearing and so on are on your sled. Most people on here get around 6-8mpg on average and very few get from 8-12mpg range.
