I have a 2000 SRX 700 with basically everything stock. I am just wondering what my best option for the rear skid would be. Should I replace it? Where's the best place to get skids? Is there a kit to put some action into the proaction? so on and so forth. Suggestions appreciated, lokking for best bang for my buck!

I also have a stock skid with the exception of the bender transfer rods. It's an ok ride for me but a friend put a M10 in his SRX and it's great! If I were to spend the case I'd go that way. Buy a m10 of eBay get the conversion kit and you'll have one he'll of a ride. You'll be able to bang those moguls all day. Good luck!

same here, had one in my srx, and currently have one in my Viper, good cheap alternative to aftermarket skids

X2 on this! And a revalve and rebuild from pioneer! These pro actions get a bad rap but i still believ you can make them ride for your style and what you want them to be. Mine last year rode nice and smooth for the whole family set up for their riding style. Just gotta give them a little love and support! LOL!
