waterpump seal

ok,so i had burnt dirty coolant and a rising overflow so i decided for fun to change the seals in the waterpump .so far so good but how do you fish out the oil seal thats behind the mechanical seal?there was a bunch of chunky oil behind the mech seal so i hope this is the fix. thanks

Got it with a dental type pick,can hook it were the inner rubber seal meets the metal. kind of a pain and hard to see with motor in sled and i dont have new parts yet to look at,should only take a couple hours,not to bad
