Im going to be running 07 apex update bars on my viper. Iv'e searched high and low with no real answer. Did anyone figure out how to run the apex warmers and have them work. And i mean work. My stock viper grips get hotter then hot and thats what i want from the apex grips. I see to run them in parallel but want to make sure this works good. I had planed on just running my viper grips on the apex bars and just wrap the hook ends. Did this on my viper bars with hooks for last year and it worked great. Never got cold from non heated hooks. But before i tear off the apex grips and wreck them i wanted to see if anyone got the apex grips to work. Thanks chris

I used a set of bars from an 06 apex on my 02 viper er. I used the stock apex grips that were already on the bars and they still get alot hotter than I want. Usually turn them down.

Those updated bars should be smokin' hot. Follow what I did here http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showthread.php?t=78800
If you spend the extra time isolating the grips from the bars it works even better.
PM me with any other questions.

You have to be careful how you wire up the 06 grips. They run a lower ohm than the 07 grips. If you wire them in parallel you will put a large load on the stator. Plus side is that you will get nice toasty hands
