Any of you guys done exhuast on your srx , i would like just a bit louber but not abnoxius, way back i had a can sent to maximum performance and they drilled out something i guess on a sxr i had, anyone know if theres something like that i can do on mine
 

Well if your looking to have maximum performance leave the stock muffler on but I know how nice these sleds sound with a stinger on them.I have an MBRP can on mine and it's not too bad for loudness but the Bender one has a nice sound too,they are the only ones I've had experience with.The Hauck one is loud from all reports I've read and there's one from an now defunct company called Power Inc that was shaped similar to the stock can that was reported to be the only one that didn't lose hp.
 
My 98 600 srx& 00 srx 700 are stock and sound pretty good. My 99 srx 700 with bender can, sounds pretty good at idle and even better when your getting on it! My 01 has hauck on it, I think its the "stingers" has 3 indivaul mini cans.....LOUD AS HELL! The hauck "growler" isnt as loud. Check out you tube,tons of videos with audio to narrow down your choice.
 
I like the benders the best of any I've heard. Just a little noise but still mellow enough I can idle it through stops and not get a ticket for it.
I wouldn't worry about loosing power with any of them, its only a couple hp so if ur not racing and counting inches it don't make much difference

I have JAWS stingers on mine and the are great
Same back pressure as stock and not too loud
