I have a 02 Viper ER with Hauck CPR pipes clutched etc. and today when I was double checking my needle settings I lost a set of the shims. I run in the 4th pos. with both shims on top typically. In that setup the shims aren't really doing anything are they? I think I can get away without replacing them. Anyone know for sure?
I wouldn't even know how to pull my carbs, properly jet, clean etc without this forum. Many many thanks to everyone, TY is awesome.

Well when they are on top of the clip, they aren't doing anything for "adjustment", but rather limit the amount of up and down movement of the needle and help keep it from flopping all over the place. Follow?
