Does anyone know what the compression for a 02 viper should be?
I know they have staggered compression, but I don't know how much difference there is suppose to be from pto to the other two.
I don't know if my compression tester is accurate, but here is what it reads: pto side 119, other two 139. Testing it cold with throttle wide open.
Also, does anyone know how much top speed I would lose if I dropped a tooth on top? :letitsnow

Can't remember exact but im pretty sure mine was like 12psi difference last I checked. Can't recheck now for u since I have the head mod done now so they are all equall.

Mine read 125,125,119 last season. When thats 119 drops to 110 ill be taking a look. Every one is different. Plus different guages read differently. Length of hose on the guage makes a difference. I know Journeyman was reading into the 145 + range. Just keep an eye on things.

Seems ok but I haven't rode it much since I put it on, I did it at the same time I put tripple pipes on it. Its reccomended with tripples To have em all equal. Not sure of it would do much for a stocker other than your jets would probably have to change.

triple pipes make a huge difference. as far as the $1000, you can find nice used sets for under $400. If you are gonna go to triple pipes be prepared to pay close attention to your jetting, run good fuel, and lots of it. The fuel mileage goes down considerably with triples and jetting and fuel quality become very important. You will also need a rear cooler, opticool head gasket, and the head mod or an aftermarket head are a good idea too.

X2 all of the above are part of the process. Takes a little time fine tuning and the n tuning clutching around to. It does totally change the sled though. I am comparing to a well running srx and I've got it running pretty close to it. Didn't finish clutching though, think I can get better still. Between my back surgery and last years conditions I didn't get much fine tuning done.

X2 on the 1000 bucks also, find a used set for 400 or less. I got mine for 500 only cause they were the ceramic coated and almost brand new, only had a few hundred miles on em.
